The Vue at Lake Eola

The Vue at Lake Eola is a 35-story condominium located in the heart of Downtown Orlando. The site was formerly occupied by Hank’s Gas Station, which was in service beginning in the late 1920’s. The Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and Phase II ESA revealed that soil and groundwater at the site had been impacted with petroleum constituents that exceeded regulatory clean-up target levels. No Further Action (NFA) status for soil and groundwater was obtained from FDEP within three months following completion of the remediation activities. GEC was also the Geotechnical Engineer of Record for the project including design recommendations for the displacement auger cast pile system used for tower support.
