Orlando Executive Airport Sheltair Aviation Facility

GEC provided geotechnical engineering services for the design and construction of the Sheltair state-of-the-art Fixed Base Operator (FBO) building and two hanger facilities at the Orlando Executive Airport. GEC’s services included geotechnical recommendation for design of building foundations and site pavements. GEC coordinated with the site contractor during construction to remove shallow organic soils at the site identified as part of GEC’s subsurface exploration program.
